The Newspapers Index Project

This has been coordinated and compiled by Pat Rademaker who has compiled the data from the transcriptions made from newspapers by many many volunteers from within and without WMGS, at the Grand Rapids Public Library.

Kent County School Records Index

This database is a listing of the names of Pupils and Teachers. This project is coordinated by Roger Moffat, with most of the data entry done by Lisa Christensen. Mindy Koole, Ginny Staal and others have performed the checking.

 

Michigana Index

This database contains the names of all the people mentioned in WMGS's Quarterly publication, Michigana, and was compiled by Sue Irvine.

All of these databases are compiled for publication online by Roger Moffat using FileMaker Pro from FileMaker Inc. The web site is run on a Macintosh computer and the databases and web searches are hosted in FileMaker Pro on that computer.
